The Columbary of Our Lady of the Rosary is a special place set a part within the grounds of the Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary, for the care and safekeeping of the cremated remains and bones of those who have gone before us from this earthly life.
The quite simplicity of our lady's memorial wall and garden is a fitting alternative to ground burial. Memorialiazation of the lives of our families, relatives and friends in this above ground resting place is dignified, theologically and ecologically sound and economically sensible.
When we deposit cremated ashes and bones in Our Lady's Columbary - Ossuary, we place our beloved dead within the context of contemplative and loving community of nuns who will enroll the souls of the departed in their Perpetual Prayer Society and remember them in their daily intercessory prayers.
*A vault can be reserved and purchased in advance under the terms of the guiding documents which govern the Columbary. The prices of the vault are determined by their location within the column. The cost does not include the name plate that is affixed to the granite cover of the vault.
